Founded by Charles Cacioppo Sr. in 1961 and one of Missouri’s longest running companies specializing in demolition. Charles Cacioppo Sr. vision was to tear down houses in the dilapidating areas where he grew up to better his community. His vision and dedication was then instilled to his son Charles Cacioppo Jr. who joined his father full time in 1972. Since the first project in 1961, Industrial Salvage & Wrecking (ISW) has steadily grown and was incorporated in 1984. Charles Cacioppo Jr, President of ISW along with his son Charles Cacioppo III, Vice President, who joined the family business in 1996 integrated interior and commercial demolition and in 1998 imploded a 10 story hotel for the City of Kansas City, MO. Together, Charles Jr and Charles III have operated the company with passion and staying true to family values. For more than half a century, ISW has become synonymous not only with demolition, but integrity.
